SEKO

Scientific governance

Science before trends.

SEKO must not become a biohacking centre that adopts every fashionable intervention. Every new medical service passes through a defined review before it reaches a member.

Scientific philosophy

Heritage may inspire. Innovation may excite. Evidence decides.

SEKO's clinical language is deliberately conservative. We describe healthspan, risk reduction, prevention, early detection, longitudinal monitoring and optimisation where scientifically justified — and we do not describe reversal, guarantees or cures.

Clinical accountability remains physician-led at every point in the platform, including where AI supports synthesis and coordination.

Clinical governance

Six gates before a service exists.

  1. 01

    Evidence

Quality, consistency and applicability of available data.

  2. 02

    Safety

Risk profile, adverse events and contraindications.

  3. 03

    Regulatory status

Authorisation and permitted use in the UAE.

  4. 04

    Clinical governance

    Ownership, protocols, competency and audit.

  5. 05

    Member relevance

Does it change a decision or an outcome?

  6. 06

    Outcome review

Continued only where measured value persists.

Scientific & Medical Advisory Board

In formation.

SEKO is assembling an international multidisciplinary group of physicians, scientists and healthcare innovators to guide clinical quality, evidence standards and responsible adoption of emerging technologies.

Evidence framework

  • Guideline-aligned clinical pathways as the default
  • Documented rationale for any deviation
  • Defined evidence thresholds by service category
  • Structured review of emerging technologies
  • Periodic re-evaluation and withdrawal where justified
  • Transparent communication of uncertainty to members

Research & academic collaboration

Collaboration, properly governed.

SEKO intends to work with universities and research institutions on clinical studies, health data science, AI validation, translational medicine and education — under formal agreements, ethical review and applicable regulatory approval.

No research activity, trial, endorsement or institutional affiliation should be inferred from this page. Collaborations will be announced only once formally agreed.
